How to get there

By car

Post Code for Sat Nav: LE2 7FL

There is no parking available at the ground itself, and there are a number of parking restrictions in place around the stadium.

You can park at Leicester Rugby Club, at a charge, which is a 10-minute walk away. Saffron Lane Sports Ground has 300 car parking spaces on a first come, first served basis. This opens 2 hours before kick-off, and is around a five-minute walk away from the King Power.

By train

Leicester Train Station (direct trains from Kings Cross St Pancras) is around 1.2 miles from King Power Stadium, which is approximately a five-minute car journey or a 20-minute walk.

To walk from Leicester Train Station, exit the building and cross London Road, turn left and follow the round to the right. Keeping Waterloo Way on your left as the path separates, cross New Walk and follow the path down to Nelson Mandela Park.

Turn right onto Lancaster Road, walk through the park and head for the crossing by the public toilets, cross Welford Road and turn left, you will then arrive at King Power Stadium.

Matchday experience

Hammers will be situated in the North East corner. Food and drink is available on the concourse, with your normal football offering of hot dogs, burgers and pies.

With the ground in walking distance from the city centre, there are plenty of pubs around. We would recommend avoiding the Symphony Rooms, the F Bar and the Half-Time Orange pub, as these are home only.

The Counting House (LE2 7LH), The Hind (LE2 0PD), The Barley Mow (LE1 6FE) and The Last Plantagenet (LE1 6FD) are the recommended away pubs for this weekend.

The Hind, The Barley Mow and The Last Plantagenet are all within a 5 minute walk of Leicester Station. The Counting House is around a 20 minute walk from the station, but is 10 minutes from the ground.
