How were the Supporter Representatives chosen for the Official Supporters' Board?

The Club enlisted the help of an independent panel who were responsible for selecting Supporter Representatives from applications the Club received. Panel members included; Club legend Sir Trevor Brooking, fan favourite Carlton Cole, Director Visit Football Many Lane (the Premier League’s Quality Assurance Stadium Scheme) and Paul Richman, Chair of the Official West Ham United Supporters’ Club. Panel members were chosen based on their backgrounds within football, supporter experience or because they possessed great knowledge and passion for West Ham United Football Club.

Applications were anonymised and scored independently by each panel member on their merits, with those receiving the highest score in each area being selected as a Supporter Representative. All unsuccessful applicants may be asked to contribute to additional sub-groups across the season. So that fans can become familiar with their Supporter Representatives, profiles of those selected will feature on the Club website in advance of the first WHUSB meeting. Additionally, the Club will provide each representative with a direct contact so that fans can get in touch to share their views, ask questions and provide feedback ahead of future meetings.
