Do I need to wear a face covering?

The health and safety of all supporters is our upmost priority. We are taking all of the necessary steps to protect our staff and supporters from the spread of COVID-19, including following Sports Ground Safety Authority guidance on the wearing of face coverings. We recognise that some supporters will be exempt from wearing a face covering. Knowing this information in advance is a requirement of entry to the ground as it will assist our staff in ensuring yours and your fellow supporters’ safety and enjoyment of the game while at London Stadium. We kindly ask that you confirm if you’re exempt from wearing a face covering by selecting the option on the health declaration form. The Club will then contact you directly to provide further information and guidance to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable matchday. For any queries email

Supporters aged 11 and over must wear a face covering at all times in the following areas:

  • External areas on bridges
  • External concourses
  • Turnstiles
  • Internal concourses / walkways
  • Toilets
  • Stands
  • Seating Areas
  • Staircases / landings
  • In hospitality – lounges, escalators, toilets and all circulation areas

The only time when you do not need to wear a mask is when eating or drinking.
