I'm on the Season Ticket Waiting List, when should I expect to be contacted?

Following the Government’s welcome announcement on February 22, which stated that all legal limits on social contact are set to be removed by June 21, planning for the regular return of supporters has begun in earnest and we are now ready to offer supporters who have reached the top of our existing Season Ticket Waiting List the opportunity to buy their 2021/22 Season Ticket.

In response to supporter feedback, a new and improved Priority List will be launched, giving any supporter interested in becoming a Season Ticket holder in future seasons the ability to track their progress as they move closer to the top of the list through a dedicated online portal. The Club will therefore be contacting each individual on the list via every available channel to ensure they are aware of the current options available to them and have greater sight of their opportunity to secure a Season Ticket in a given season. 

The Club will begin contacting those supporters who have been waiting patiently on the current Season Ticket Waiting List from Monday 8 March in the order in which they joined to give them the opportunity to either take up a 2021/22 Season Ticket, or discuss their options.

We thank supporters for their patience given the Club’s decision to pause selling new Season Tickets to those on the Waiting List for the 20/21 season until the prospect of supporters returning became clearer. 

Supporters have been grouped into 6 groups the order in which they joined. Each Group will have a week-long window to take action before we contact the next group. 

Supporters will be required to inform us of their desired action within their window. This is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be advised of the options available to them in the order in which they joined and that everyone on the list is contacted to enable the launch of the new enhanced Priority List product.


The timings for each group are outlined below:

Group 4From 29th March
Group 5From 6th April
Group 6From 12th April 

The Club is beginning to contact supporters now to allow our Ticketing team adequate time to speak with and address the individual needs of all supporters and to prepare fully for the hopeful return of 60,000 supporters at the start of next season.  The Club will be contacting supporters by every available method  – email, SMS, letter and telephone - to ensure they don’t miss their opportunity.

If supporters have not received an email from us by Tuesday 9th March and they hold a position on the Season Ticket Waiting List, email supporterservices@westhamunited.co.uk who will be happy to resend the email.
