Safety on train and tube

Please note the following safety information is advised by Transport for London (TfL):

  • As a result of congestion or social distancing challenges within Stratford station you may be required to queue for entry into the station – If this occurs please be patient with staff and you will be allowed entry when safe to do so.
  • You are required to wear a face covering on public transport – your covering must be on, covering your mouth and nose at all times, when in the station and on the train – if it isn’t you may be denied entry to the network by policing of TfL enforcement staff or you could face a fine.
  • Supporters should try to maintain distance at all times whilst in any queue as well as moving through the station.
  • For more information on TfL’s covid-19 guidance please visit tfl.gov.uk/campaign/coronavirus

Supporters are advised to use all available routes to London Stadium in order to assist with keeping your distance on public transport and when arriving to and leaving the stadium, wherever possible.

If using public transport, please ensure you follow all the guidelines for your chosen transport provider. For the latest travel advice visit www.nationalrail.co.uk or www.tfl.gov.uk. Alternatively, you may wish to visit the transport operators’ website directly.

Supporters are urged to wear a face covering on all forms of public transport while travelling to and from London Stadium. Stadium staff will be wearing face coverings and we would encourage you to continue to do so, unless medically exempt, in line with public health guidance for crowded places.

Please plan your journey in advance and check timetables to ensure you arrive at the ground at least 60 minutes before kick-off.
