Important: ID verification process for 2026/27

Ahead of the 2026/27 season, the Club will be rolling out the second stage of ID verification and will require adult season ticket holders to complete a secure photo ID verification check as part of the Season Ticket renewal process.

This secure verification process will allow the Club to confirm that the contact information we hold is accurate and will contribute to our ongoing action against ticket touting. The verification process will be delivered by GBG, an identity verification and fraud prevention company which is part of the UK Government DIATF service and powers over 62 billion transactions each year.

As part of the season ticket renewal process, supporters will need to tick a box to confirm they understand they will need to provide photo ID as part of the process. After renewing, they will then receive an email from the Club with instructions on how to complete the ID verification process.

The ID provided by supporters will only be used to verify the contact information provided and will not be retained by either the Club or GBG once the verification is marked as complete. Anyone who has already completed the process during the 2025/26 season (i.e. holders of concessionary tickets) will not need to do so again.

This is the second phase of this project, which started last season by rolling out ID verification for concessionary ticket holders. The third stage will be implemented later this year for match-by-match ticket purchasers, starting with category A matches.
