Hammersmith & City

No service on the entire line

Until 10:30am.

Metropolitan

Part closure

Aldgate to Harrow-on-the-Hill closed until 10:30am.

Piccadilly

Part closure

Hyde Park Corner to Acton Town closed until 2pm.

Mildmay

No specific Saturday closure listed

TfL's planned works document does not list a Saturday closure for the Mildmay line. The next listed Mildmay disruption is Sunday 23 August.

London Trams

Part closure

Reeves Corner to East Croydon remains closed. On Saturday, Arena to Elmers End is also closed before 8am and after 6:45pm.

Waterloo & City

No service

The line does not operate on Saturdays as part of its normal timetable.

Travelling to London Stadium

The easiest stations for reaching London Stadium are:

  • Stratford – served by the Central and Jubilee lines, Elizabeth line, DLR, London Overground and National Rail.
  • Stratford International – served by the DLR and Southeastern services.
  • Hackney Wick – served by the London Overground.

Before You Travel

Supporters are strongly encouraged to:

  • Check your journey before leaving home.
  • Allow extra time for travel.
  • Consider alternative routes if your usual line is affected.
  • Arrive at London Stadium as early as possible to help avoid congestion.

Greater Anglia (Click here.): 

Liverpool Street to Cheshunt: Trains divert via Seven Sisters instead of Tottenham Hale with journey times extending by several minutes as a result until 08.15 and after 23.59.

Southminster to Wickford: Buses replace trains between Southminster and Wickford.

C2C (Click here.):

There are several service alterations and engineering works happening on Saturday 22nd August on all C2C lines, please allow extra time to travel to avoid having any delays arriving to the stadium.

Basildon Line: Engineering Work Between Fenchurch Street and Barking from 20:45. These services will be diverted to Liverpool Street, calling at Stratford but not calling at Limehouse or West Ham.

Ockendon Line: Engineering Work Between Fenchurch Street and Barking from 20:45. These services will run as train shuttles between Upminster – Grays.

Rainham Line: Engineering Work Between Fenchurch Street and Barking from 20:45. These services will be diverted to Liverpool Street, calling at Stratford but not calling at Limehouse or West Ham. These services will also be extended to Southend Central/Shoeburyness.
