Below you will find our Travel Guide for our Emirates FA Cup Quarter Final against Leeds United:

TFL (Link):

On Sunday 5th April there are various services that will impact your journey over to London Stadium, please see below for more:

Elizabeth Line:

Part closure & reduced service: Elizabeth line - Easter Sunday, 5 April.

Early morning (until 07:45):

  • No service between Paddington and Ealing Broadway. Use London Underground connections instead

From 07:45 onwards:

  • Reduced service between Paddington and Maidenhead / Heathrow

Service levels:

  • 2 trains per hour to Heathrow Terminal 4, calling at West Drayton, Langley, Slough, Burnham, and Maidenhead
  • 4 trains per hour to Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3
  • 6 trains per hour serving Ealing Broadway, Southall, and Hayes & Harlington

Stations with no service:

  • Acton Main Line, West Ealing, and Hanwell

No early morning service on part of the line, followed by a reduced timetable with some stations not served.

Bakerloo:

Part closure: Bakerloo line - Saturday 4 April and Easter Sunday 5 April. There will be no service between Queen’s Park and Harrow & Wealdstone

Also affected:

  • No Lioness line service between Euston and Watford Junction
  • London Northwestern Railway trains will not stop at Euston or Harrow & Wealdstone
  • Southern trains will not stop at Wembley Central or Harrow & Wealdstone

Replacement buses:

  • Bus 718 runs between Queen’s Park and Harrow & Wealdstone, via Kensal Green, Willesden Junction (Harrow Road), Harlesden, Stonebridge Park, Wembley High Road, Wembley Central, North Wembley, Preston Road, and Kenton

Bakerloo line trains aren’t running on this section, but a replacement bus covers the route.

Docklands Light Railway (DLR):

Part closure: Docklands Light Railway (DLR) - Good Friday 3 April to Wednesday 8 April. There will be no service between Bank / Tower Gateway and Poplar / West India Quay

Affected sections:

  • West India Quay – Poplar
  • West India Quay – Bank
  • Poplar – Tower Gateway
  • Poplar – Bank

Alternatives:

  • Use the Jubilee line, Elizabeth line, or local London bus services

DLR services are suspended across central sections, but other lines and buses can be used instead.

Hammersmith & City:

Planned closure: Hammersmith & City line - Good Friday 3 April to Easter Monday 6 April.

The entire Hammersmith & City line services will run not over the Easter weekend.

District:

Part closures: District line

  • Earl’s Court – Kensington (Olympia): Good Friday 3 to Easter Monday 6 April
  • Whitechapel – Upminster: Good Friday 3, Saturday 4, Easter Sunday 5 and Easter Monday 6 April

Where:

  • No service between Earl’s Court and Kensington (Olympia)
  • No service between Whitechapel and Upminster

Also affected:

  • No Hammersmith & City line service
  • c2c trains will not stop at West Ham all weekend

Alternatives:

  • Use local buses or Mildmay line connections for Earl’s Court – Kensington (Olympia)

Replacement buses (east London section):

  • DL6 (early morning & late evening only): Whitechapel → Stepney Green → Mile End → Bow Road → Bromley-by-Bow → Canning Town → Barking
  • DL7: Stratford → Plaistow → Upton Park → East Ham → Barking → Dagenham East
  • DL8: Barking → Upney → Becontree → Dagenham Heathway → Dagenham East → Elm Park → Hornchurch → Upminster Bridge → Upminster
Parts of the District line are closed in west and east London, with no Hammersmith & City line service, but replacement buses and other lines are available.

Lioness:

Planned closure: Entire Lioness line - Saturday 4 April and Easter Sunday 5 April. There will be no service between Euston and Watford Junction.

Also affected:

  • No Bakerloo line service between Queen’s Park and Watford Junction
  • No London Northwestern Railway services between Euston and Milton Keynes Central
  • No Southern services between Shepherd’s Bush and Watford Junction

Replacement buses:

  • Bus 718 runs between Queen’s Park and Harrow & Wealdstone, via Kensal Green, Willesden Junction (Harrow Road), Harlesden, Stonebridge Park, Wembley High Road, Wembley Central, North Wembley, Preston Road, and Kenton
  • Bus 720 runs between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Watford Junction, via Harrow & Wealdstone, Headstone Lane, Hatch End, Carpenders Park, Bushey, and Watford High Street

The entire Lioness line is closed, along with several connecting services, but replacement buses cover the route in two sections.

Mildmay:

Part closure: Richmond – Willesden Junction - Easter Sunday, 5 April. There will be no service between Willesden Junction and Richmond on the Mildmay line.

Alternatives:

  • Use the District line between Gunnersbury, Kew Gardens, and Richmond
  • Replacement bus R runs between Willesden Junction and Gunnersbury, stopping at Acton Central (The Vale) and South Acton (Acton Lane)

Trains aren’t running on this section, but you can use the District line or a replacement bus.

Waterloo & City:

Service operates 06:00 until 00:30, Monday to Friday only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays and on bank/public holidays.

Greater Anglia (Link): 

Ely/Bury St Edmunds to Cambridge:

Saturday, 4 April 2026 to Monday, 6 April 2026.

Buses replace trains between Ely and Cambridge as well as between Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge.

Train will continue to operate between Norwich and Ely, Cambridge and Stansted Airport / London as well as between Ipswich and Peterborough.

Tottenham Hale to Stratford:

Sunday, 5 April 2026.

Train services that normally operate between Hertford East and Stratford will be diverted to operate between Hertford East and Liverpool Street between 08.00 and 18.00.

Passengers travelling to / from Stratford should use Greater Anglia main line services between Liverpool Street and Stratford.

No services will operate between Meridian Water and Stratford.

C2C (Link):

Basildon Line:

Engineering Work Between Fenchurch Street and Barking. These services will be diverted to Liverpool Street, calling at Stratford but not calling at Limehouse or West Ham.

Alternative route:

  • Ticket acceptance on the Jubilee line and the DLR at Stratford/West Ham.

Ockendon Line:

Engineering Work Between Fenchurch Street and Barking. These services will run as train shuttles between Upminster – Grays.

Alternative route:

  • Passengers should change at Upminster or Grays for services towards London and Southend.

Rainham Line:

Engineering Work Between Fenchurch Street and Barking. These services will be diverted to Liverpool Street, calling at Stratford but not calling at Limehouse or West Ham. These services will also be extended to Shoeburyness.

Alternative route:

  • Ticket acceptance on the Jubilee line and the DLR at Stratford/West Ham.
