We would like to inform supporters that no water bottles will be permitted in to London Stadium for this weekend’s match against Portsmouth. This is for the purposes of ensuring supporter safety and preventing any heavy objects from being thrown and causing injury.
We know it will be another warm day on Saturday with temperatures forecast of 28 degrees. With that in mind, we’ve made lots of arrangements for our supporters to be able to access water on the day:
- You can pick up a cup after the security search tents. These can be used at clearly marked water points on the external concourse by entrance K (opposite the fan zone), entrance H (opposite the BrewDog bar) and entrance G (opposite the bar).
- There are water points inside the stadium concourse which will also have cups available for collection.
- Free water refills can be provided at the majority of the food and drink kiosks both inside and outside of the stadium.
- We’ll have water available after the match for supporters using our accessible shuttle bus. Please note this will be departing from Bridge 3 after the match and not from the stadium store.
Please don’t bring any expensive reusable water bottles with you as these will be removed at the search points and will not be returned.
We apologise for the inconvenience and look forward to welcoming you back to London Stadium on Saturday.
