Flag Policy

Request Process

  • Contact the Supporter Services team at least 48 hours before the game.
  • Email: supporterservices@westhamunited.co.uk
  • Provide:
  • A photo of the flag design.
  • Size/dimensions of the flag.
  • Confirmation of the fire safety certificate.

Flag Criteria

Manufacturing and Safety:

  • The flag/banner must be manufactured to British Standards.
  • Certified as fire retardant.

Size Restrictions:

  • No larger than 2 meters by 2 meters.
  • Discretion may be shown if there is space inside the stadium, and the flag is stored seasonally by the Supporter Services team.

Placement:

  • The banner must be displayed in a suitable location.
  • It should not obstruct branding, LED panels, or seats in use.

Content:

  • The content should not be derogatory or inflammatory.
  • No defamatory, political, or offensive slogans are permitted.

Flag Poles:

  • Flag poles are not permitted inside the stadium regardless of size or length.

Non-Compliance

  • Flags not meeting the guidelines or without prior permission will be denied entry or removed from the stadium.
